Which is the easiest way to find out the server Log Exception?

Which is the easiest  way to find out the server Log Exception?Then how to understand that this is an exception?How  is it useful  and good as  a QA person he is  find out the server Log Exception and help the developers?Is it good
Any body have any idea...

    In server Log page So much of Log details are available right.So you mean how to identify the exception from them .Right
    I think the better and easy way is to execute a Database Query before and after the particular process.Then with the help of that query we can search.In between the query only we got the particular log details.
    I think normal exception is
    1) Nullpoint exception.
